MyOSPRI — Our online customer portal

On Thursday 3 November 2022, we went live with new features in MyOSPRI. Find out more about the new features, why we’re releasing incremental changes, and how they are related to our new traceability system

MyOSPRI is our new farmer customer portal, and the first functionality added to it was the ability to send electronic ASDs.

Our next major milestone in MyOSPRI, is to replace the NAIT system, with a more user-friendly and fit for purpose traceability system which makes interacting with our traceability and the TBFree programme easier. As part of the build, we’re working to update MyOSPRI more often, with incremental changes, so you can benefit from the new traceability features as they’re ready, and we can get early feedback on the changes as they roll out.

Releasing new features more often means the changes are subtle and evolve as you use MyOSPRI.

The purpose of improving the NAIT system is to decrease the barriers that you currently experience when trying to complete your NAIT obligations, which should improve compliance and therefore more accurately reflect what is on farms throughout New Zealand

You can register for MyOSPRI today, use it to send electronic ASDs and see how these changes are taking shape. You will still need to use NAIT to record animal movements, until the new traceability system in MyOSPRI is ready.

New features released in MyOSPRI

On 3 November, we went live with new features in MyOSPRI.

Changes included:

Upcoming changes

We’ll be making further updates to the roles in MyOSPRI over the next few feature releases in November and early next year. These changes will include:

  • removing the People Admin role and reassigning those people as Location Managers
  • removing the ASD Admin role and enabling basic access for a MyOSPRI user for a farm or lifestyle block to create ASDs and add pickup addresses.
  • people who currently only have the ASD Admin role will be reassigned to have this basic access.

These changes will happen automatically, so you don’t have to do anything. More information will be shared with you in the next feature release at the end of November.

If you are registered for MyOSPRI and didn’t receive the new feature release update, please email us at MyOSPRI@ospri.co.nz and we’ll get you added to the mailout list.
