How to sign up for MyOSPRI (farmers)

Use this step-by-step guide to sign up for MyOSPRI as a farmer.

We use your email and date of birth to verify your identity

When you sign up for MyOSPRI you need to set up a new account, even if you already have logins for other OSPRI systems such as NAIT.

To ensure we can verify your identity and make sure you can't be confused with any other user:

  • you must be the only person who uses your email address in MyOSPRI — this also helps us trace the activities on your account
  • we ask for your date of birth — you also provide this when you register as a Person in Charge of Animals (PICA) in NAIT.

If you use the NAIT system, make sure your NAIT email address is the one you use when you sign up to MyOSPRI. This will ensure your data comes across smoothly from NAIT to MyOSPRI in future.

To sign up for MyOSPRI, follow these steps.

  1. 1 Select the link below.
  2. 2 Select Sign up.
  3. 3 Enter your email address and set a password. As you type in the password box, password criteria will appear to help you set up the password.
  4. 4 Select Sign up.
  5. 5 Check your email inbox for a verification email and select Verify your email. This will return you to the MyOSPRI Complete sign-up page.
  6. 6 Enter your first name, last name and date of birth.
  7. 7 Select Continue.
  8. 8 Enter your phone number, physical address and postal address.
  9. 9 Check the Terms and conditions box if you agree to the terms.
  10. 10 Select Sign up. This will take you to the home page of your new MyOSPRI account.

If you have a trading name, make sure you record this after signing up.

If you don't receive a verification email

If you don't receive a verification email, check your spam folder as it may be in there. If it’s not, you can:

  • try logging into MyOSPRI. This will bring up a screen with the option to request your verification email is resent
  • call us on 0800 482 463
  • email us at myospri@ospri.co.nz
