Generating account and animal reports
As a Person in Charge of Animals (PICA) or PICA delegate, you have access to reports that provide details about your animals, NAIT transactions and movements.
Using NAIT to generate reports
As a supplier of meat and dairy products, you can create reports from your NAIT account, if you:
- are asked to provide them as part of your regular audits
- want to complete a self-audit of your farm — this can be be a good way to check that your NAIT account is up to date
- want to check the history of animals you're moving on to your property.
Account summary report
The account summary report provides a summary of activity in your NAIT account for the past 12 months from the date the report is generated. You find it on the NAIT number details in your account. It includes:
- NAIT location details
- a summary of animals registered to your location
- contact information for the PICA
- how many delegates you have for your account
- all the animal movements on and off your location for the last 12 months.
An account summary report comes in PDF format. If you're using it for an audit, download, and save or print the report before your audit takes place.
Reports about animals
You can generate the following reports for animals on your farm.
Tags on own property
This report provides you with a list of tags purchased for your NAIT number. You can narrow down your search by specifying a date range, tag category or tag status.
Transaction history audit
This report provides you with a summary of transactions made using your username for a specified date range.
Own animal fate details
This report provides information about the status of all animals registered to your NAIT location number — for example, live, dead or missing. You can narrow down your search by specifying a date range, animal status or animal type.
Animals moved off NAIT number
This report details animals that have been moved off your NAIT location during a specified date range.
Animals moved onto NAIT number
This report details animals that have been moved onto your NAIT location during a specified date range.
Animals details changed
This report provides information about changes you made to all, or a specified list of animals, at your NAIT location.
Animals registered to my NAIT number report
This report provides information about the animals currently registered to your NAIT location number.
Current NAIT location of animals report
This report will provide the current NAIT location number for any animal registered in NAIT.
Animal registration and movement history
This report shows the full history of any animal registered in NAIT animal based on its registration details and recorded movements. Before you buy cattle or deer you can use this report to verify their movement history. You can see the location the animal was registered to and other locations the animal was moved to.
The location information provided refers to the district the animal was registered to.
Compliance summary report
The compliance summary report lets you check the status of animals scanned on your farm.
If you upload a file of NAIT RFID numbers scanned on live animals at your location, you can see if the animals are correctly registered and whether any of their details need updating.
The report includes information about:
- registered animals, and
- animals registered to:
- your NAIT location number
- other NAIT location numbers.
You can also download a detailed results file, which shows each RFID tag and the category it falls into.
