Mary Cording

Mary Cording joined OSPRI in July 2020 and is our General Manager, People. She provides strategic direction and leadership across the People and Culture and Health, Safety and Wellbeing teams.

Mary is passionate about the importance of culture and human-centred leadership to the performance of an organisation. Her teams are committed to ensuring OSPRI is a safe, healthy workplace, where people can thrive doing jobs they love.

Mary has over 20 years’ experience in human resources and has worked in a range of sectors, including private, public, state-owned enterprises and not for profit. She holds accreditation in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), is certified in the Emotional Culture Deck, and has been a guest speaker at events.

Mary lives in Wellington with her husband and two children.
