Board of Directors
OSPRI is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of between 5 and 7 directors. Director positions are appointed by the shareholders on the basis of recommendations by the OSPRI Stakeholders’ Council, as established under the Constitution.
Fenton Wilson, Chair
Fenton Wilson enjoys a range of governance roles as well as farming in Wairoa with wife Sue. A former member of the Stakeholders’ Council and now director, he has been involved with OSPRI for more than 10 years.
Susan Huria
Susan Huria (Ngāi Tahu and Ngāi Tuahuriri) is chair of Leaderbrand. She is also a director of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and Accessible Properties NZ.
Michael James
Michael James has had significant senior executive experience in global private and public sector science and technology companies. He brings strategic, financial, and commercial insight and experience to the Board.
Nicole Davies-Colley
Nikki Davies-Colley and her husband have been involved in farming for over 35 years. Nikki chairs the Tiaki Plantations Company and the Kensington Hospital Ltd.
Alex Guilleux
Alex Guilleux is highly experienced in providing strategic guidance and execution consulting. He holds many governance roles including director of Beef+Lamb New Zealand and chair of their audit and risk committee.
Mark Todd
Mark Todd is an independent director with experience in a range of businesses and sectors. He is the chair of the New Zealand Lotteries Commission, along with an extensive range of current and past chair and board roles.
Louise Cullen
Louise Cullen is a dairy farmer from the Waikato, working with her husband to continue his family’s farming legacy. She is a director at Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company and AgResearch. She has previous experience in governance roles in not-for-profit and community sectors.
Hugh Martyn
Hugh Martyn has substantial experience in senior management roles across a number of companies, including chief executive at PGG. He has also held chief executive officer roles in a range of industries, including software development and electronics.
Tony Cleland
Tony Cleland has a strong background in the primary sector, including business investments in several Southland farms and ownership of a Central Otago winery. He serves as director of FarmRight and recently retired as director of FMG Insurance.
