Farm manager Shawn Southee is part of a Rangitikei business which oversees the operation of 10 dairy farms and three drystock blocks, accounting for around 8,500 animals. He says registering all your farm locations in NAIT is essential for an effective government and industry response to a future animal disease outbreak.

TB Management Area (TMA) planning is key to biological eradication of bovine TB from New Zealand by 2055, with 64 operations currently active throughout the country. View them at a regional level here, otherwise, landowners and interested groups should have received their TMA notices.
